All announcements from OCU to students will be made through the OCU UNIPA website (accessible via your PC and smart phone), not through this homepage. Be sure to check information in the OCU UNIPA every day. Past information for new students is still available.

【Important】Issuance of student ID cards (Published on 22 April 2020)

At the end of April, a student ID card will be sent in sequential order to the student’s address which was entered during the Web application (personal statement). For those who wish to have it sent to their guarantor’s address, please contact the appropriate faculty/graduate school as soon as possible.

Implementation of online class and environmental improvement for receiving lectures (Updated on 17 April 2020)

Classes for the first term of the 2020 academic year will be conducted online starting Thursday 14 May, using an OCU class support system called WebClass. The environment required for online classes and how the classes will be conducted are explained in the ”Osaka City University Online Class Guide (for students)” (Japanese only). Please read it very carefully before registering for classes.

Sales of textbooks (Partially corrected on 1 May 2020)

Textbooks will be sold at the OCU Co-op starting Monday 27 April. See below for details. The textbooks written on the syllabus (You can check the syllabus on OCU UNIPA.) may have changed. Please confirm the appropriate course in WebClass and purchase the textbooks after 1 May.

How to register for courses (Updated on 23 April 2020)

Course registration starts 9:00 AM, Friday 1 May until 5:00 PM, Friday 8 May.
Details on how to register for new students will be posted and updated on this page. Be sure to read carefully and complete registration without making any mistakes. You will not be able to take classes unless you have completed the course registration by the due date.
